Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus calling for the records relation to the impugned order of removal from the student's roll of VSTAS/R/604 and the order of expulsion from the respondent dated 11.07.2025 passed by the respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to re-admit and permit the petitioners to continue their Final Year LLB-3 years course in the respondent University. 1/6

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the respondent dated 11.07.2025 thereby removing the petitioners from the roll of the respondent college and also directing the petitioners to collect transfer certificate within a week's time on 11.07.2025.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused all the materials placed before this Court. 3.

The petitioners were studying in the respondent college in final year LLB programme. While being so, the petitioners involved in a criminal case registered in crime No.518 of 2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 140(2) & 142 of BNS, 2023 alleging that the petitioners along with other persons kidnapped certain students and 2/6

committed grave offence. Therefore, now the investigation is still pending in crime No.518 of 2025. It is clear violation of the Code of Conduct of the respondent. Therefore, the petitioners and others were removed from the students' roll of the respondent college and they were expelled from the institution with immediate effect by order dated 11.07.2025. They were also directed to receive their transfer certificates within a period of one week. However, after period of three months, the order of expulsion has now been challenged by the petitioners. 4.

Moreover, as per the Code of Conduct of the respondent, if any student involves in a criminal case, they are liable to be expelled from the respondent institution. Therefore, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the impugned order passed by the respondent. As such, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 5.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
