The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS Act, 2023 in Crime No.146 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein is named accused in Cr.No.146 of 2025 for the alleged offence under Sections Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS Act, 2023. The FIR reveals that the defacto complainant is a migrant worker had money transaction with one Vicky. When Vicky and his brother Praveen demanded the money back, the defacto complainant has expressed his inability and sought time. For that purpose, Vicky and his brother Praveen who are A1 and A2 had attacked the defacto complainant by hand, whereas this petitioner who was accompanying A1 and A2 had attacked the defacto complainant with the knife handle causing cut injury on the head.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the defacto complainant had sustained simple injuries and he was treated as outpatient. The FIR reveals that he was given first aid in the Primary Health Centre and referred to Government Hospital at Coimbatore.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner herein has previous case of similar nature and if he is granted anticipatory bail, he may endanger the life of the defacto complainant.

5. Considering the objection and the fact that investigation is yet to be 2/4

completed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory and hence, this Criminal Original petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. 03.09.2025 Vv To 1.The Judicial Magistrate Court-V, Coimbatore.
