O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.115 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent-Police.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the dispute between the petitioners and the second respondent is contractual dispute, which is purely civil in nature, in which the first respondent police is unnecessarily interfering and trying to give criminal colour. Therefore, F.I.R. in Crime No.115 of 2023 may be quashed.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that prima facie there are allegations made against the petitioners and therefore, there is no ground to quash the FIR. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a direction to the first respondent-Police is to expedite the 2/4

investigation in Crime No.115 of 2023 and file a charge-sheet as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
