The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406 & 420 of IPC, in C.C.No.89 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submits that without even conducting an enquiry, the case was registered and final report filed. It is further submitted that only upon affixture of the NBW, the petitioner came to know about the pendency of the case.

3. Considering the fact that the trial Court has already issued NBW, it is appropriate for the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court and seek recall of the warrant by explaining the reasons for his absence.

4. With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
