ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the detenue A.K.Nadhini, D/o.Mr.Akini Kumar, aged about 26 years, forthwith, who is in custody of the respondents 3 and 4, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner is a practising Advocate and according to him, he and Nandhini were in love with each other for quite sometime. Alleging that Nandhini is in the illegal custody of her parents, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed.

3. Today, Mr.G.Chandru, Inspector of Police, T-5, Kundrathur Police Station, Kundrathur, Chennai - 600 069 [Mobile: 98401 25656], is present. 2/4

4. The petitioner was present with his counsel. Nandhini and her parents and their counsel were also present.

5. When we enquired Nandhini, she stated that she is not in the illegal detention of her parents and that she requires some time to take a decision before committing herself for marriage. We are convinced that Nandhini is not in the illegal custody of her parents for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
