ORDER

The petitioner/De-facto complainant had filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent to file charge sheet based on the F.I.R. in Crime No.1 of 2024 on the file of the respondent/police. 1/4

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in this case, investigation completed, charge sheet filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvannamalai through e-Filing on 15.07.2025 and the case is yet to be taken on file. He further submitted that the Hon'ble High Court of Madras issued Circular directing that, cases under Prevention of Corruption Act registered after May, 2025, charge sheet to be filed before the Sessions Court. Once, the charge sheet is returned, the same will be represented before the Sessions Court immediately.

3.In view of the same, this Court directs the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvannamalai either to transmit or return the charge sheet and thereafter, the same to be filed before the Sessions Court without delay preferably within a period of two months.

4.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
