The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2) and 326 of BNS, in Crime No.167 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner apprehends arrest for the illegal transport of one unit of river sand using a TATA Ace vehicle and Splendor Two-wheeler.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposes granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner has got three previous cases of similar nature.
