The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the respondent dated 20.05.2003, quash the same and direct the respondent to consider and accept the one time settlement offer submitted by the petitioner by letter dated 16.05.2003 received by the respondent on 17.05.2003. 2.When the case is taken up for hearing today, Mr.V.Kalyana Raman, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent/Bank has made a submission that the issue has been settled between the parties, as the account of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with the respondent Bank had already been closed in the year 2007. This submission has been made on instructions orally given by the respondent Bank.

3.In view of the aforesaid development, during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel would submit that the Writ Petition may be disposed of accordingly. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank that the issue has already been settled, as the account was closed in the year 2007 itself and further no records is maintained, this Writ Petition is disposed of, as no further adjudication is required. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
