ORDER

This petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 & 2 to provide police protection to put up compound wall in the southern side of the property comprised in survey No.138/2, as per patta, survey No.625/3, New survey No.757/3 situated at Mangadu A Village, Kunrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, to an extent of 2706 sq.ft. 2.

It is seen that there is dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 & 4 in respect of the subject property. That apart, the respondents 3 & 4 have already filed suit in respect of the very same property for declaration and injunction in O.S.No.70 of 2024 and it is pending before the Sub Court, Kancheepuram for trial. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted. If the petitioner succeeds in the suit, he is at liberty to approach the authority concerned for police protection.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
