ORDER
This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.
2. This case in Cr.No.375 of 2007 is registered for alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code. It can be seen that already, both the accused as well as the de facto complainant have filed a compounding petition under Section 320 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Considering the fact that section 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code Page No.1 of 3
is also there and the parties have moved on and have no objection to the case being disposed of on compromise, this is an appropriate case for the exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as per Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Anr. [(2012) 10 SCC 303].
3. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.73 of 2025 of Judicial Magistrate Court, Sulur, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.
12.09.2025 grs electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
