ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of a Second Appeal Case No.SA/4662/E/2020 filed under Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act, within a reasonable time.

2.Mr.C.Vigneswaran, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. The learned counsel stated that he had obtained instructions that reasonable effort will be taken to dispose of the Appeal in Case No.SA/4662/E/2020 within a period of 12 weeks.

3.At any rate, if the petitioner co-operates during the hearing and attends the hearing and does not take unnecessary adjournments, then the 1st respondent may endeavour to dispose of the appeal within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Let him also maintain the records of the notes paper indicating the presence and the co-operation extended by the petitioner in this regard.

4.With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
