Mr. J. Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that he has "no instructions" from the Petitioner to proceed further and he has made an endorsement to that effect. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the Writ Petition pending, when the Petitioner does not appear to be interested in pursuing the matter.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution, leaving it open to the Petitioner to apply for revival of the Writ Petition in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
