The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the land in Survey No.79 to an extent of 4.37 hectres situated at Vridhachalam revenue division, Kumaramangalam Village (subject property) based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2022.
2. In respect of the property in S.No.79 to the extent of 4.37 hectares situated at Vridhachalam revenue division, Kumaramangalam Village, the petitioner had given a representation on 24.06.2022 to the official respondents to issue patta. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Learned Government Advocate would submit that, insofar as the plea of the petitioner to get patta for his lands, he has to make an application through on-line and if he makes such application to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar, the same would be considered and necessary orders would be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Having considered the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.
"That it is open for the petitioner to make an on-line application immediately to the 3rd respondent through the concerned web portal and on receipt of such application, the 3rd respondent Tahsildar shall process the same and pass necessary orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
