Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, Call for the records connected with the order of the 2nd respondent herein in CPT No.17/2024, dated 30.09.2024 passed against his brother the detenu namely Pasupathi S/o. Chandran, aged about 26 years as a "Bootlegger" who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai 600 066 and set aside the same, consequently, directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu and set him at liberty forthwith. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
