Respondents in all wps Common Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent relating to the oral order dated 22.04.2019 in OA.Nos.1373, 1371 and 1356/2016 as far as the petitioners are concerned and quashing the same in the Batch O.A., starting from OA.No.1354/2016 dated 22.04.2019 and directing the respondents No.2 to 4 for granting temporary status from 21.09.1980 ; 29.05.1984 and 20.03.1981 in stead of 01.01.1983, 1.1.1983 respectively, with consequential benefit and refixing the petitioners' basic pay.

Mr.P.T.Ramkumar COMMON ORDER [Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] (1)By consent, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal. Mr.P.T.Ramkumar, learned Standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4.

(2)Tvl.V.Devarajan and 14 others had filed O.A.No.1354/2016 batch etc., to call for the records relating to the conferment of temporary status to them and to direct the respondent to refix their basic pay with effect from 21.09.1980 with all the attendant benefits as in the case of Mr.S.Tirunavukkarasu and to pass such further or other orders as the Tribunal may deem fit and thus render justice. (3)The Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench, had taken note of the fact that similar Original Applications in OA.Nos.385 to 406/2017 were disposed of by the Tribunal vide order dated 22.03.2019 and in the light of the said order, had dismissed all the Original Applications vide common order dated 22.04.2019.

(4)The applicants in OA.No.1368/2016 and 1355/2016 respectively, aggrieved by the dismissal of their Original Applications, filed WP.Nos.29791 and 29793/2019 and this Court, vide order dated 21.10.2019, had dismissed both the writ petitions at the admission stage itself and thereby, confirmed the common order dated 22.04.2019 passed by the Tribunal.

(5)The present writ petitioners are the applicants in OA.Nos.1373, 1371 and 1356/2016 and the said Original Applications were also came to be dismissed along with the Original Applications filed by the petitioners in WP.Nos.29791 and 29793/2019.

(6)The Court heard the submissions of Mr.P.T.Ramkumar, learned standing counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4 also (7)In view of the dismissal of WP.Nos.29791 and 29793/2019, no case is made out for interfering with the impugned common order passed by the Tribunal dated 22.04.2019 in the Original Applications filed by the present writ petitioners.

(8)In the result, the writ petitions stand dismissed at the admission stage itself, confirming the order passed by the Tribunal dated 22.04.2019 in OA.Nos.1373, 1371 and 1356/2016. No costs.
