ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the Order No.Mu.Mu.A1/1441/2024 dated 04.10.2024 of the Tahsildar Tittagudi the 3rd Respondent herein and quash the same consequently order the grant of patta in S.F.No.33 of Pothiramangalam Village Tittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District as requested by the petitioner in her fresh representation dated 14.10.2024 directing the 3rd respondent herein, the Tahsildar, Tittagudi to grant and issue patta by including the name of the petitioner in the village register and issue patta for the house site measuring 3 cents of land.

The Impugned Order dated 04.10.2024 has been issued against the Petitioner stating that the petitioner's husband owns a land which has been allotted in Survey No.21/12B2, measuring an extent of 0.01.00 ares and therefore, the Petitioner is not entitled to Patta. A copy of the Patta in respect of the said land has been produced and it is seemed that the same stands in the name of one Natarajan. Therefore, the ground on which it has been rejected is absolutely wrong.

3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the Impugned Order dated 04.10.2024 is set aside and the 3rd Respondent is directed to issue Patta to the Petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
