ORDER

The petitioner's land along with other land owners were acquired for the formation of an outer ring road, an award No.2 of 2023 was passed on 30.06.2003 fixing the value at Rs.600 per cent. The petitioner had not made any reference and thereafter, upon reference the award was enhanced to a sum of Rs.10,000/- per cent. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation under Section 28 A of the Land Acquisition Act for redetermination of compensation under the Land Acquisition Act in respect of the following lands:

2.This representation has been made on 23.09.2004, since no action has been taken, petitioner is before this Court. 3.Heard learned counsel on either side.

4.In the light of the facts stated above, mandamus is issued directing them to conclude the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of reciept of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed. No costs. 06.11.2024 3/5
