O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to allot retail outlet dealership in the land offered by the petitioner in terms of the second respondent's letter ref:CBE DO/RO SRMP/2014-15/14/1, dated 15.11.2016.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents has produced a letter dated 16.11.2017 issued by the respondents, wherein the petitioner has been issued a letter of intent for the award of MS/HSD Retail Outlet dealership to the petitioner at Kangeyam Town, Tiruppur District. Since the relief sought for in this writ petition has been achieved, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents as well as after recording the letter dated 16.11.2017 issued by the respondents to the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
