Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2017 and further direct the 2nd respondent to pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Ten Laksh only) to the petitioner, for the loss incurred to the petitioner for cutting down 106 teak wood trees and 15 Kattu trees in the petitioner's land by the 2nd respondent and for enabling the petitioner to cultivate his land because installation high voltage wire to above my agricultural land. ORDER
Heard Mr.A.Gouthaman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent.
2.The petitioner has not placed any proof to show that there were 106 teak wood trees and 15 kattu trees in his land before they were cut off. Therefore, this Court cannot issue any direction as sought for by the petitioner.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority with requisite proof that there were 106 teak wood trees and 15 kattu trees, which were cut off. No costs.
