O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to measure and fix the boundary stone in respect of the 1/4

property of the petitioner comprised in Survey No.215 to an extent of 0.86 1⁄2 cents situated in Arappakkam Village, Walaja Taluk, Vellore District, presently Ranipet District.

2. The petitioner in order to survey his land at Survey No.215 to the extent of 0.86 1⁄2 cents at Arappakkam Revenue Village, Walaja Taluk, Ranipet District, had given application on 25.02.2022 and on that date the online application has been submitted and necessary fee also had been paid.

3. Despite the same so far the land has not been measured, therefore the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.M.Premkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner who having reiterated the aforestated would seek indulgence of this Court.

5. Heard Mr.V.Veluchamy, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents who would submit that, if application has already been filed for surveying the land and the fee if it is paid already, certainly that 2/4

would be considered by the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar and needful would be done within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

6. Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and taking into account of the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: That there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent/ Tahsildar to consider the request of the petitioner dated 25.02.2022 and do the needful by surveying the land belongs to the petitioner by giving notice to the petitioner as well as the neighbours and accordingly complete the same and pass orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
