This Transfer C.M.P. has been filed to withdraw GWOP No.144 of 2023 pending before the District Court at Tiruvallur and transfer the same to the VI Additional Family Court at Chennai.

When the matter was taken up today, both the counsel would speak in unison that the parties to the proceedings have settled the matter and have initiated proceedings for divorce by mutual consent and that they have also filed O.P.No.45 of 2024 on the file of the Subordinate Judge at Poonamallee. 1 / 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. In the light of the above development that has taken place subsequent to the filing of the Transfer C.M.P., they would request that no orders need be passed in the same. Learned counsel for the husband/respondent states that she will withdraw G.W.O.P.No.144 of 2023 presented by her before the Principal District Judge at Tiruvallur on 18.07.2024. Her statement is recorded.

4. Since the parties have settled the matter and the learned counsel for the respondent states that she is going to withdraw the GWOP, no further orders need be passed in this Transfer C.M.P. and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
