Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the 5th respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.07.2012 within a time frame and consequently direct him to revise the boundaries and areas of Ward D, Block No.2 by including the Old Survey No.111/12 measuring an extent of 5.48 cents in Salem Corporation as per A3 Sketch.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 5th respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.07.2012 within a time frame and consequently direct him to revise the boundaries and areas of Ward D, Block No.2 by including the Old Survey No.111/12 measuring an extent of 5.48 cents in Salem Corporation as per A3 Sketch.

2.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 6th respondent had passed an order on 04.11.2020 for effecting the changes as prayed for in the Writ Petition and pursuant to the same, the Tahsildar had also passed an order on 05.11.2020 for effecting the changes as prayed for in the Writ Petition.
