Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for records leading to the detention of petitioner's son viz., Boominathan S/o.Rathakrishnan, aged 40 years, 14/45, 1st Street, Nethaji Nagar, Ernavoor, Chennai, presently detained at Central Prison, Salem, under Act 14/1982, as a "GOONDA" vide detention order dated 17.10.2019 in C.M.P.No.20/Goonda/C2/2019/M1 on the file of second respondent herein, directing to produce the person or body of the detenu before this Court and thereafter, set him at liberty from the Central Prison, Salem, by setting aside the order. [Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Boominathan S/o.Rathakrishnan, aged 40 years, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in C.M.P.No.20/Goonda/C2/2019/M1 dated 17.10.2019. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the son of the petitioner in C.M.P.No.20/Goonda/C2/2019/M1 dated 17.10.2019 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.4959, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 29.11.2019 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
