Heard Mr. V.Vijay Shankar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mrs. C.Sangamithirai, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First Respondent and Mr. D.Venkatesan, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner, while working as meter reader in Suleeswaranpatti Town Panchayat, was transferred from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Suleeswaranpatti Town Panchayat to Karamadai Town Panchayat by Order in Na. Ka. No. 05/2017/Pe2 dated 18.12.2017 passed by the First Respondent, which is challenged in this Writ Petition. 3.

This Court at the time of admission on 28.12.2017 had granted interim stay of the impugned order, which continues to be in operation as on date.

The Second Respondent has filed the Counter-Affidavit dated 13.12.2021 stating that the First Respondent by another Order in Na. Ka. No. 05/2017/TP2 dated 10.01.2018, the Petitioner has been re-transferred from Karamadai Town Panchayat to Suleeswaranpatti Town Panchayat. In view of the aforesaid subsequent events after filing of the Writ Petition, nothing remains for further consideration in the matter. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed.
