When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their identity proofs before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent and the second respondent appears in-person.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending proceedings in C.C.No.7303 of 2019 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioner have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed a compromise affidavit dated 25.11.2019 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in C.C.No.7303 of 2019 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore is quashed.

4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 25.11.2019, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.7303 of 2019 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore is quashed.
