By order dated 03.01.2023 in A.Nos.6003 & 6004 of 2022, the applicant/petitioner was permitted to foreclose four fixed deposits, which were established with the Indian Bank, Madras High Court Branch, on condition that fresh fixed deposits should be made from and out of the entire proceeds.

2. At the hearing today, learned counsel has filed a memo dated 20.02.2023 setting out the particulars of four fixed deposits for sums of Rs.1.99 crore, Rs.1 crore, Rs.1 crore and Rs.75 lacs respectively, aggregating to Rs.4,74,00,000/-. Each fixed deposit is for a term of 10 years at the interest rate of 6.75% per annum. Learned counsel submits that a sum of about Rs.6 lacs was deducted by the Indian Bank on account of foreclosure of the fixed deposits.
