Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondents 2 and 3 herein from asking the petitioner to pay the arrears/dues of Electricity charges with regard to M/s.Sheshasayee Industries Limited, pursuant to the 2nd respondent's Letter, dated 21.07.2003.

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking to forbear respondents 2 and 3 herein from asking them to pay the arrears of Electricity charges with regard to M/s.Sheshasayee Industries Limited, pursuant to the 2nd respondent's Letter dated 21.07.2003.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner Company is wound up and that the matter has been settled before this Court in W.P.No.4742 of 2012 on 16.10.2005. She has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect. 3.

It is represented by the 4th respondent/Official Liquidator, High Court of Madras, that the claim made by the respondents/Electricity Board is pending before them and the same will be adjudicated and a decision will be rendered on their claim.

In view of the above, as the matter has been settled, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is made clear that if any amount is due to the Electricity Board, it is open to the respondents/Electricity Board to claim the same from the Official Liquidator/4th respondent in accordance with law. No costs.
