Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation letter dated 04.02.2025 along with reminder letter dated 03.04.2025 and dispose the same within time frame and consequently direct the 4th respondent to credit Rs.9,336/- (Nine Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Six Only) every month.

ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 4th respondent to credit a sum of Rs.9,336/- (Nine Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Six Only) every month to the petitioner towards family pension, by considering her representation dated 04.02.2025 along with the reminder letter dated 03.04.2025.

Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 2 & 4, Mr.A.N.R.Jayaprathap, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband, the late S.Sennan, was working as an Office Assistance in Sub-Registrar Office, 2/6
Udumalpet and he subsequently retired from service in the year 2006, on reaching the age of superannuation and he was receiving pension. While so, the said S.Sennan died on 25.12.2009, leaving behind his wife/the petitioner herein and three sons as his surviving legal heirs. Thereafter, the petitioner was allotted with pension ID:PEN029116 and from the year 2011, she started to receive a sum of Rs.9,336/- every month towards pension from the 4th respondent. While so, all of a sudden, from June 2024, the pension amount had been reduced to Rs.4,381/- without any proper notice. Thereby, the petitioner sent a representation dated 04.02.2025 to the respondents, however, as the same evoked no response, the petitioner, sent a reminder letter dated 03.04.2025 to the respondents. Since, no action has been taken by the respondents till date, the petitioner has come up with this Writ petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025 along with the reminder letter dated 03.04.2025 and pass 3/6
appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025 and also the reminder letter dated 03.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
6. With the above directions, this Writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
