This writ petition is filed to call for the record of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.7388/2008 Sa.Pa dated 23/10/2014 confirming the order of dismissal from service passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.857/A1 dated 28.04.2008 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to settle all the monetary benefits due to the petitioner 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 28.08.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to implead the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner on record. Today, the learned counsel for the third respondent has filed a memo stating that the petitioner passed away on 29.05.2022, and that the petitioner's wife was informed about the pendency of the writ petition but she expressed her unwillingness to prosecute the writ petition. 3.In view of the memo filed by the learned counsel for the third 2/4

respondent, this writ petition stands dismissed as abated. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
