ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. This case is registered for alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code. The incident occurred on 08.09.2017. In this case, initially, when the summons were sought to be served, it was represented before the Court that in the year 2022, the accused seems to have died. However, the death certificate of the accused could not be produced. The de facto complainant and the accused were neighbours during the relevant point of time. They were no more neighbours and the accused has no other antecedent. The de facto complainant also could not be presently traced. Under the said circumstances, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending.

3. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.2600051 of 2018 of Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Coimbatore Taluk, Coimbatore, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

22.09.2025 grs electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
