ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) Seeking a direction to the second respondent police to produce the body or person of petitioner's son Arun Prakasham, about 28 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the detenu is missing from 30.09.2023 and based on the complaint given by the wife of the detenu, a case was registered in Crime No.448 of 2023 on 03.10.2023.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the second respondent police secured the detenu on 30.10.2023 at Chennai and duly intimated the same to the petitioner. He further submitted that on enquiry, the detenu stated that he was not in the illegal custody of anyone and expressed his willingness to go with the petitioner and therefore he was handed over to the petitioner. 2/4
