ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 08.02.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for extension of membership for the year 2024. 2.
Heard Mr.S.Prabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents.

It is seen from records that the renewal of registration of the membership of the petitioner has taken place till the year 2023. When the petitioner submitted an application in the year 2024, the 2nd respondent through letter dated 29.01.2024 directed the petitioner to submit certain documents. The list of documents are found at Page No.110 of the paper book. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted the documents and also made a representation seeking for extension of registration. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

The learned Additional Government pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that if the petitioner had submitted all the documents sought for by the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent would have passed appropriate orders for extension of membership.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already all the documents have been submitted and inspite of the same, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order. 6.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and also considering the fact that the registration of the petitioner has been extended from time to time, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner along with the documents which have been submitted by the petitioner and issue appropriate orders extending the membership within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
