PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.1.2019 regarding issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of house site property in the Government Poramboke Land in Survey No.237/21 to the extent of 0.21⁄2 cents at No. 14C, Sanar Street, Binnavaram, Senthamangalam Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District.

ORDER

Mr.J.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. Heard both. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent to consider his representation for the grant of patta.

3. The learned Government Advocate, who has accepted notice for the respondents, submits that the representation given by the petitioner is under active consideration of the third respondent and that an enquiry is scheduled to be conducted on 11.12.2019, after which, the third respondent will consider his representation on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Placing on record the said submission of the learned Government Advocate, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the third respondent to proceed further in accordance with law. No costs.
