PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, Call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in No.1007/BCDFGISSSV/2024, dated 01.10.2024 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenu, namely Sivaji, S/o.Mohan, aged 30 years, Goonda now he is confined in Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty. Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
