ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner as B.T. Assistant (English) based on her inclusion as Sl.No.1 in the panel as on 01.01.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite having been included as Sl.No.1 in the panel for the promotion to the post of B.T. Assistant (English) on 01.01.2022 the respondents till date have not promoted her.

Heard Mr.P.Rajendran, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has received written instructions from the respondents stating that as and when the next counselling is held, the petitioner will be promoted to the post of B.T. Assistant (English). The said statement stands recorded.

Accordingly this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as B.T. Assistant (English) as and when the next counselling is held by the respondents. No costs.
