This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register the FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.01.2022.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry conducted in C.S.R.No.30 of 2022. Similarly, petitioner's father-in-law gave a complaint, on that basis, C.S.R.No.29 of 2022 was registered and enquired. In the course of enquiry, both the parties have sorted out their differences and came to a settlement. In view of the settlement reached between them, no further action was necessary. Therefore, enquiry in C.S.R.No.30 of 2022 and C.S.R.No.29 of 2022 had been closed.

3.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the settlement talk there was an understanding reached to send the petitioner's wife to the matrimonial home and also hand over his bike, ring, chain, cash etc., In that case, it is open to the petitioner to approach proper forum including the Family Court for appropriate relief. No further order is necessary. 2/4
