ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the 1st and 2nd second respondents to provide employment to the petitioners in accordance with the proceedings dated 25.01.1990 and on the basis of the representation given by the petitioners on 27.08.2024.
2. There are 9 petitioners. They seek consideration of their representation dated 27.08.2024. They claimed that lands belonging to their family have been acquired by the respondents and it was held out at that point of time that one member of the family would be provided with employment. In this connection, a representation had been given by the petitioners and the Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus in that regard.
The second respondent had filed an affidavit wherein it had been stated as follows:- "2. I state that, in total, there are 9 petitioners. I state that though the claim of all the
petitioners is that the lands belonging to their families were acquired and that a member of each of their family be provided employment, the records and facts pertaining to each of the petitioners are different.
3. I state that t hough the petitioners had made a representation in August 2024, given the voluminous of records and the fact that the lands of the petitioner's family were acquired way back in 1990, the respondent was not in a position to trace all the records.

I state that the 3rd respondent, after examining the representation of the petitioners sent the records with their observation to this respondent. I state that however as various queries arose, the issue required deliberation. I state that after consideration the facts and records, this respondent has now placed the matter before the 1st respondent.

I state that it is in these circumstances that there occurred a delay in considering the representation. I state that the representation of
the petitioners shall be considered, and appropriate orders will be passed on merits in accordance with law, before 18.04.2025. I state that this undertaking of the respondent may kindly be taken on record the writ petition be disposed. It is, therefore, humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly take this affidavit on record and pass appropriate orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice."
4. The statements made in the affidavit are recorded.
5. I am confident that the representations would be duly considered and appropriate orders passed within the period stipulated and undertaken.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, W.M.P.No. 34581 of 2024 stands allowed. No order as to costs. 27.03.2025 vsg
