Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records respondents, particularly, the 3rd respondent's letter dated 17.11.2004 and quash the same as illegal and invalid and to direct the 3rd respondent to accept the petitioner's application submitted on 24.10.2004, for the admission into Phd., programme conducted by the 3rd respondent, in the course commencing in January 2005.

However, considering the fact that the relief sought for in this writ petition is for admission into Phd. programme conducted in the month of January 2005, I do not find any thing survives to be adjudicated upon further, since this Court has not granted any interim order at that time of entertaining the writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
