Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein to take immediate action on the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2017 to give protection to the petitioner's property measuring to an extent of 3.39 acres and 3 acres comprised in Survey No.14 and 93, at Thondamuthur Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District as more fully described in the representation, dated 22.12.2017 to the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to take immediate action on the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2017 to give protection to the petitioner's property measuring to an extent of 3.39 acres and 3 acres comprised in Survey No.14 and 93, at Thondamuthur Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District as more fully described in the representation, dated 22.12.2017 to the 2nd respondent.

2. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
