O R D E R

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 329(3) and 351 of BNS, 2023, read with Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The dispute regarding a money transaction has led to a petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.568 of 2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submits that C.S.R.No.568 of 2025 has been registered and the enquiry is pending. It is further submitted that if the petitioners participate in the enquiry, the police shall not take any coercive steps against them.

4. Taking note of the said submissions, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed, with a direction to the petitioners to participate in the enquiry on receipt of summons. On such appearance, the respondent police shall complete the enquiry within a period of 21 days from today and shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioners unless and until any serious 2/4

cognizable offence is made out.
