After some arguments, Mr.M.Vijayakumar, learned counsel for writ petitioner sought leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned main writ petition but made a plea to preserve all the rights and contentions of the writ petitioner to assail the property tax revision. Learned counsel submits that property tax has been revised recently.

2. In the light of Section 34 of 'The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1978 (Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1978)' [hereinafter 'CMWSS Act' for the sake of convenience and clarity], leave to withdraw granted and request to preserve all the rights and contentions of the writ petitioner to assail the property tax revision are preserved.

3. Learned counsel has made an endorsement in the case file and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows: 2/4

4. Aforementioned endorsement is reiterated in the hearing.

In the light of the endorsement made and reiteration of the same in the hearing, captioned Writ Petition is disposed of as closed albeit preserving all the rights and contentions of the writ petitioner to the extent indicated supra.
