Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records relating to the petitioner's mother detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 01.10.2023 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings C3/D.O.No.103/2023 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's mother namely Reena, aged 39 years, wife of Saravanan, before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty. now petitioner's mother detained at Special Prison for Women, Vellore. The petitioner, son of the detenu, namely Reena, W/o.Saravanan, aged 39 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 01.10.2023 slapped on her mother, branding her as "BOOTLEGGER" as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the mother of the petitioner herein dated 01.10.2023 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6635, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 27.11.2023 and he has also produced a copy of the said order. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as the same has become infructuous.
