ORDER

With the consent of both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. This Writ Petition is fi1ed to issue a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the representation dated 22.08.2023 seeking cancellation of patta issued illegally and to assign the name of the petitioner's mother viz., Neelammal in the new patta.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent No.4 and perused the materials available on record.

4.The contention of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the disputed property and patta has been issued in the name of third parties 2/5

illegally and their names have been included in the registers without any rights whatsoever. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation on 22.08.2023 seeking cancellation of patta and to assign the name of the petitioner's mother in the new patta. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.08.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
