This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) opposes the petition on the ground that the petitioner is an History Sheeter under "C" category and there are six previous cases pending against him. The Respondent police asked the petitioner to appear before the Police Station only to verify his whereabouts and they are not harassing him.

3. Therefore, this Court finds no merits to allow this petition. Even for verifying the whereabouts of the petitioner, the respondents are directed to follow the procedure established in law. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
