COMMON O R D E R When these Writ Petitions are taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court, the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, in re (Madras High Court Staff Association Vs. Government of Tamil Nadu, and others) reported in (2004) 1 MLJ 223, wherein, the constitutional validity of the orders passed by the Government, vide G.O.Nos.71 and 74, dated 19.03.2003 have been upheld and G.O.Nos.72 and 73, dated 19.03.2003 have been struck down. The learned counsel, therefore, submitted, in view of the aforesaid judgment, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
present Writ Petitions, wherein, challenge has been made to G.O.Nos.71 and 74, viz., W.P.Nos.14550 and 14553 of 2003, are liable to be dismissed and the Writ Petitions, in which, G.O.Nos.72 and 73 were sought to be set aside, W.P.Nos.14551 and 14552 of 2003 are liable to be allowed. The learned counsel also produced the copy of the said judgment for this Court's reference, and prayed for appropriate orders of this Court. 2.
Perused the judgment relied upon by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Thus, in the light of the judgement rendered by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, referred to supra, W.P.Nos.14550 and 14553 of 2003 are dismissed and W.P.Nos.14551 and 14552 of 2003 are allowed.
