Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into the post of Typist in the Scale of pay of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with a grade pay of Rs.2,400/- to which post the petitioner was originally appointed by order dated 08.06.2011 and absorb and regularize her services as Typist from the date of appointment namely 10.06.2011 or in the alternative, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to offer appointment to any one of the posts of Balliff/Examiner/Reader in the Judicial Department under the control of the 1st respondent in the State of Tamil Nadu.

ORDER

(Made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2.The prayer made is for providing an opportunity to the petitioner to be considered for being absorbed and regularised in the services as typist in the judicial department. This issue had already been brought to our notice in W.P.No.18315 of 2019, where we have passed the following order on 26.11.2019, "Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent/State and the learned counsel for the High Court.

2.It has been informed that pursuant to the judgment dated 30.04.2019 in W.P.No.6378 of 2018 and other connected matters, an Official Memorandum was issued by the Registrar General on 20th June 2019. A copy of the judgment as well as the Official Memorandum have been produced before the Court. 3.Apart from this, it is also informed that the time period as indicated for completion of the process had expired and therefore, an extension was sought, which has been granted by another judicial order of this Court in W.M.P.No.20474 of 2019 in W.P.No.6378 of 2018 dated 06.08.2019.

4.In view of the process having been already undertaken, the relief prayed for by the petitioners already stands covered by the aforesaid judgment and the Official Memorandum referred to hereinabove. This Writ Petition, therefore, stands disposed of in the wake of the subsequent developments. There shall be no order as to costs.

3.We find that the relief prayed for by the petitioner also pertains to the same subject matter and accordingly, this writ petition is also disposed of on the same terms, with liberty to the petitioner to seek her remedy accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
