ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Sankarapuram to dispose of the case against the petitioner in C.C.No.95 of 2022 within a time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is facing trial in C.C.No.95 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Sankarapuram, for the offences under Section 294(b), 341, 353 and 506(2) of IPC. The charges were framed on 14.02.2023 itself. Out of 8 witnesses, 4 witnesses were already examined and the matter is repeatedly posted for the purpose of summons to L.W.4 to L.W.8. Hence, the present petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Judicial Magistrate, Sankarapuram, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.95 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible. 2/4

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
