Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to release the petitioner's ASHOK LEYLAND LORRY bearing registration number TN-43-B-8388 which was seized by the 2nd respondent on 06.04.2023 by consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2023 and pass such orders.

O R D E R

The writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the 1st respondent to release the petitioner's Ashok Leyland lorry bearing registration No.TN-43-B-8388 which was seized by the 2nd respondent on 06.04.2023.

2. When the matter came up for admission today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced an order dated 08.08.2023 in and by which, the petitioner's lorry has already been confiscated.

3. As such, the prayer in the writ petition cannot be countenanced and hence, accordingly it is dismissed, however, with liberty reserved to the petitioner to challenge the order of confiscation in the manner known to law. No Costs.
