PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorari to call records of the respondent herein in his proceedings TNGST : 2302501/98-99, dated 30.03.2004, and quash the same.

For Petitioner : Mr. Raveendran For Respondent : Mrs. Kanmani Annamalai, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that, the Writ Petition is of the year, 2004, and during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioner has preferred an Appeal before the Appellate Authority, and the same is pending for consideration, and in view of the same, the petitioner is inclined to pursue the remedy before the Appellate Authority, and hence, the learned counsel seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. The learned counsel also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle on 28.03.2017.

In view of the above submission coupled with the endorsement, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
