PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in Detention Order in Cr.M.P.No.25/Bootlegger/2023 C1 dated 09.10.2023 on the file of the second respondent and set aside the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the son of the petitioner/detenu Ganesan S/o.Varadhan Chettiyar aged 57 years now confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.6634 Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 27.11.2023, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
